🎉 What’s new in version 6.60?

Dear Konect Reseller,

We’re thrilled to inform you of an exciting update – the launch of the new Konect Command Line Interface (CLI). This tool streamlines the process of importing and exporting data from the Konect cloud, enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency.

As we highly regard your partnership, we are giving you advanced notice to help you familiarise yourself with the changes, so you’re well prepared to address any queries from your clients.

Important: The new Konect CLI requires a valid API key and a command line license from the client’s organisation. API keys can be generated by an account administrator through the Konect portal.

Here are the necessary steps to download and install the Konect CLI:

  1. Download the Konect CLI zip file. The download link can be found in our documentation, located here.
  2. Create a dedicated folder on your computer for the CLI. We recommend naming it as “C:\konect”.
  3. Unzip the Konect CLI zip file into the newly created folder.
  4. Install the GDAL prerequisites. Our CLI utilises a third-party tool, GDAL (version 3.5), which needs the latest 64-bit Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable. The download link for this can be found here.
  5. Use the konect.exe program for all commands. This file is located in your new folder and is used to run all commands.

In-depth information about command structures, parameters, and flags within the Konect CLI is available in our documentation. For optimal operation, the Konect CLI commands should specify the API key and environment name.

As this is our inaugural release, your feedback is invaluable to us. Should you encounter any issues or bugs, or have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
