Konect App for Agriculture

Konect can’t predict the weather, or reduce disease, or dig a hole (yet!), but its ability to collect, analyse and report on field data is second to none.

It’s the oldest industry in the world, and according to Climate Works Australia, agriculture covers over half of Australia’s land and directly employs around 304,000 people across approximately 86,000 farms. Livestock grazing on native vegetation – mostly in arid areas – occupies 45% of Australia’s total land mass.

The complexities of cultivating land, raising crops, and feeding, breeding, and raising livestock are hard to imagine, as is the diversity of land (and water) types, diseases and biosecurity threats, vast distances and natural disasters.
